The last 16 of the Inverness Four Day Open has been decided after the two days of qualifying have been completed.
In the scratch section Kieran Mackay repeated his first round 67 to lead the qualifiers with an excellent two round total of 134.
In a high quality line up for the matchplay stages, Lewis Reid (Fortrose & Rosemarkie) faces Jamie Whittet (Nairn) and Paul Savage faces North District Team Captain Ryan Copland of Moray.
Defending champion Jordan Shaw automatically goes top seed and will play David Oddy. Other past champions through to the next stage are David Joel and John Forbes both of the home club.

Defending champion in section 1 Dougie Gordon qualified comfortably and as top seed will play John Macaulay in round 1. Aden Boyce recorded an excellent qualifying score of 133 and will play 6 time club champion Graeme Daun.
Barry Gunn added a superb 66 to his first round 72 to lead the qualifiers in section 2 with 138 and will play Jamie Bennett in the matchplay stage. 2024 champion James Greenwood progressed with two steady rounds and will play fellow home club member Peter Sinclair.
The qualifying score for section 3 was 148, an impressive 7 shots lower than the previous year. Colin Houston made it through on the cut line and will play top seed Graeme Thomson who added a stunning 64 to his first round 67 to lead the qualifiers.
The consolation stableford competition starts on Wednesday morning with the top four competing on Thursday for the Stewart Coghill trophy.
