Genesis Scottish Open outright winnerTodd Kelly: Marco Penge (+6000)
Taking a bit of a flyer here. Penge has only made 7 of 12 cuts during his rookie campaign on the PGA Tour, but the English golfer knows this kind of golf. Of note: five of the last nine winners of this tournament were European.

Aberg hasn’t really contended since his T-4 finish at the PGA Championship in May, but the Swede has placed inside the top 10 at this event each of the last two years. I like him to get the job done this week and carry some serious momentum into the Open.
Jason Lusk: Matt Fitzpatrick (+1800)
The Englishman has been on a heater of late, with a second place and a fourth place in two of his past three Tour events as well as three wins earlier this year. Comfortable on links courses, he finished T-4 in last year’s Scottish Open and T-4 in last year’s Open Championship. He has two top-10s in the four times he has played the Scottish.
Timothy Schmitt: Patrick Cantlay (+4500)
Cantlay’s putter hasn’t helped him much, and in fact, his stats have slipped in that category in each of the last four seasons, but his ballstriking has been as good as ever of late. Don’t be surprised if he knocks his way into contention on Sunday.
David Dusek: Matt Fitzpatrick (+1800)
Few golfers have played as consistently well throughout the season as Fitzpatrick (three PGA Tour wins, 4th at the Travelers), and with the season’s final major just a week away, and with a new driver in the bag that he loves, this is where the Englishman starts his run to the Claret Jog.
Nick Rodger: Chris Gotterup (+2800)
You could say Chris Gotterup’s Genesis Scottish Open win last year wasn’t a turn up for the books, more a Gotterup for them. Since then, he’s rocketed like something launched from Cape Canaveral. There’s never been a back-to-back Scottish Open champion. So why not this year? He’s certainly a form horse. Giddy up Gotterup?
