Captain’s day at Tenby Golf Club has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
In a statement, Brian Jones thanked everyone who played.
Mr Jones said: “A huge thank you to everyone who played and helped to make Captain’s Day such an enjoyable occasion.
“I hope everyone who took part had a fantastic day.
“We were blessed with glorious weather, and the course was in superb condition.”
He also thanked Jaime and the green staff for their work in preparing the course, and Guto in the Pro Shop, who collected the entry fees.
A special thank you was given to Cathy Griffiths from The DPJ Foundation, who organised the raffle which raised more than £600.
Mr Jones said the teams were arranged to give members the opportunity to play with people they might not usually meet on the course.
He said: “A total of 24 teams battled it out, with the scoring incredibly close.
“In fact, just four shots separated the top 17 teams.”
The winners were Ben Childs, David Blackmore, Huw Day and Anna Sutcliffe. Their prize was a golf bag each.
In second were Rob Hall, Craig Morrissey, John Gilman, and Diana Dredge, who all won a putter.
In third place – winning a Tenby Golf Club holdall – were Roger Schooling, Garry McNeilly, Sue Shooter and Sue Harries.
Andy Cope won the nearest the pin challenge and the longest drives came from John Gillespie and Helen Hughes.
