Let’s be very clear about something right from the start: Guys who wear Ralph Lauren RLX believe golf is one of the few places where dressing well still matters.
Ralph Lauren RLX, along with Ralph Lauren’s other brands like Polo, Purple Label and Double RL, has never been just another apparel company. It has been selling an idea (a lifestyle) as much as a wardrobe. It’s a timeless blend of Ivy League panache, Anglophile appreciation, Hamptons summer vibes, a hint of cowboy character and just enough sportiness to make it all feel authentic on the course.
Guys who wear Ralph Lauren understand that trends come and go, but navy, white, khaki and hunter green never really go out of style. They know you can never go wrong on an August afternoon pairing a crisp white polo with navy seersucker pants, or on a chilly day at Pebble Beach pairing a navy cashmere mock cardigan with grey wool pants, but they also appreciate how modern rain gear can keep them dry during a passing summer shower.
The Ralph Lauren golfer values craftsmanship in every part of his life. He’d rather own one great watch than five expensive-looking ones. He believes a leather scorecard holder improves his experience on the course, even if he knows it won’t lower his score. He knows custom-fit clubs are the best clubs to swing, but he doesn’t chase every new release. The Ralph Lauren golfer probably has been using the same Scotty Cameron blade putter for decades, still has the original headcover on it and sees no reason to replace a driver that’s still finding fairways.
His car says just as much about him. Think a dark Mercedes-Benz EQB SUV or a restored Jeep Grand Wagoneer with wood paneling on the sides and far too much Old English Sheepdog hair in the cargo area. This guy appreciates things that age gracefully.

His playlist is equally timeless. Frank Sinatra and Motown are permanent fixtures of his Spotify playlists, but he’ll gladly enjoy Billy Joel, James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen. Music doesn’t have to be new to remain relevant, and neither does style.
At the turn, guys who wear Ralph Lauren order a turkey club instead of three hot dogs. After the round, they skip the trendy microbrew or cocktail of the month and order a Tanqueray and tonic or a Tito’s American Mule. When the weather cools off, they transition to an Elijah Craig Manhattan and quietly judge anyone who rushes out of the clubhouse without sitting down for at least one drink.
Other golfers often assume Ralph Lauren guys belong to an old private club with oak-paneled locker rooms and caddies who’ve worked there for 30 years. Sometimes they’re right. But they’re just as happy teeing it up at the local municipal course because good architecture and good company matter more than an exclusive ZIP code.
Guys who wear Ralph Lauren don’t confuse elegance with extravagance. They understand that confidence rarely needs oversized logos.
To them, golf isn’t about pretending it’s still 1958. It’s about appreciating what Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson represented. Almost none of today’s Ralph Lauren golfers were alive to watch those legends play, but they admire the way those champions embodied the style of their era while helping move the game forward.
Guys who wear Ralph Lauren Golf appreciate tradition, but they aren’t trapped by it. They simply understand that good style, like a well-made leather carry bag, never really goes out of fashion.
