The race for the FedEx Cup is officially on.

The first of three PGA Tour playoff events takes place in Memphis this week, as the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship begins Thursday at TPC Southwind, where 69 players will tee it up with the hopes of taking home a $3.6 million winner’s check, bolstering their position in the FedEx Cup points standings and carrying some serious momentum into the final two tournaments of the season.

There are normally 70 players in this field, but Daniel Berger withdrew due to injury. Still, many of the biggest stars in the sport are set to compete, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, who are paired together for the first two days, as well as Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and reigning FedEx Cup champion Tommy Fleetwood.
