WyoPreps Week 1 Golf Scoreboard in the 2026 Season

It’s time to tee off! The 2026 Wyoming High School golf season begins with three days of action during this second week of August. Three of the invites will be on Wednesday and Thursday, while the fourth event is on Friday. This starts the six-week season that finishes in mid-to-late September. Class 3A and 4A will have their championship on September 18 and 19, while 2A will be on September 22 and 23.

WYOPREPS 2026 HIGH SCHOOL GOLF SCHEDULE WEEK 1

Here is the schedule for Week 1 of the golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. The results will be posted below each event.

Wednesday, Aug. 12:

Douglas Invite – at Douglas C.C., 10 a.m. – Campbell County, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rawlins, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Wheatland.

The clubhouse leads belong to Jaylen Kaufman from Wheatland and Jaxon Burr from Campbell County. Wheatland leads the team standings in both divisions.

Powell Invite – at Powell G.C., 1 p.m. – Cody, Greybull/Riverside, Kemmerer, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Star Valley, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Worland.

Eliana Hopkin from Cody and William Oland from Lander have the clubhouse lead after Day 1. The Cody girls and Lander boys lead the team standings.

Powell Invite Day 1 Results 2026

Sheridan Invite – at Kendrick G.C., 11 a.m. – Buffalo, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Riverton, Sheridan.

Bella Beach from Central and Hannah Barnes from Sheridan share the Day 1 girls’ lead after shooting 78. Cole Bunting from Sheridan shot a 72 to lead the boys. Central leads the girls’ team race at 280, and Sheridan tops the boys’ standings at 312.
