Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club golfer Stephen Creed has added another major title to his impressive season after winning the Belgium International Senior Championship at Royal Waterloo Golf Club.
Creed, an England Golf Senior Men’s star, carded three consecutive rounds of 71 for a six-under-par total to finish three shots clear of the field.
The victory adds to his remarkable European Senior Men’s Amateur Championship triumph in Cyprus earlier this year.

Creed dedicated his latest victory to his late friend David Morgan, who sadly passed away a fortnight ago.
He said: “Winning an international tournament is rare and I thought I had had my win for the year at the European Amateur in Cyprus.
“Every win I cherish, and this win was special as a good friend of mine passed away with cancer two weeks ago. I therefore dedicated the win to David who I co-ran the Warwickshire Schools Golf with.
“I will raise a glass of bubbly for Dave in a couple of weeks when I get a chance to rest from a hectic few months.”
Creed almost didn’t enter the event, had it not been for his friends who persuaded him to compete.
He admitted: “This event wasn’t going to be on my schedule this year, but I’m so pleased a couple of my friends convinced me to go.
“I love history and I’m always looking to explore the area around venues – and Royal Waterloo Golf Club was only a cannon ball throw from where the Battle of Waterloo was fought!
“It’s a great opportunity to combine golf and my love of history and see where ancient history was made.”
Creed was hoping to make history of his own and after the first two rounds of the Belgium International Senior Championship, he was just one shot back of local player Stefan Boschmans.
Both players opened with birdies in the final round, and the match was level until Boschmans dropped a shot on the eighth.
The contest remained tight until the par-three 15th, where a solid par gave Creed a narrow advantage.
With an unusual three par-fives to finish, both made birdies on 16, but a birdie from the fairway bunker extended Creed’s lead as Boschmans’ pulled tee shot led to a bogey, and Creed went on to win comfortably by three shots.
