AUGUSTA, Ga. — Six amateurs teed it up to begin the 2026 Masters. After Friday’s cut, all of them are heading home.
It was not a stellar week for the amateurs at Augusta National, with tough conditions hampering even the best players in the world. There were plenty of notable moments, from the Amateur Dinner to practice rounds with legends of the game. But on the course, no amateurs are playing the weekend.
Here’s a look at how they finished at the Masters.

Neal Shipley, the 2023 runner-up at the U.S. Amateur, was the last player to win the Silver Cup. He also played the final round with Tiger Woods and beat the five-time Masters champion.
