The PGA Tour this week features the 2026 BMW Championship starting on Thursday at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
The BMW Championship marks the return of the PGA Tour to Missouri for the middle of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
We don’t see Bellerive too often, with the last time being the PGA Championship back in 2018. Longer hitters fared well that week, though I would anticipate for the 2026 BMW Championship field that it’s not playing as much of a brawny course this go round.
Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you’re playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2026 BMW Championship rankings.
2026 BMW Championship expert picks and rankings
1. Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler has been the top player in golf this year, and he won last week playing the kind of golf emblematic of his best.
2. Sam Burns: Burns couldn’t quite cut it on Sunday against Scottie Scheffler, but he continues to be in excellent form.

3. Xander Schauffele: I don’t get why Xander is third on the betting table, truly. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, despite the great week in Detroit.
4. Matt Fitzpatrick: Fitz showed up pretty well at a venue he typically likes, and he should be able to finish strong.
5. Hideki Matsuyama: Early on last week, it looked like it was one week in a row too many for Hideki, and then he finished T-7.

6. Rory McIlroy: McIlroy has declared himself lost on the golf course, though he did seem to find something he liked on Sunday in Memphis.
7. Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood has been very good the last few months, and he was T-7 at TPC Southwind.
8. Si Woo Kim: Kim has been fantastic for a lot of this season, and he was runner-up in the playoff opener.
9. Viktor Hovland: Hovland is really hard to predict, and he kind of sputtered on the weekend, but I like where his game is.
10. Chris Gotterup: Gotterup should enjoy a bigger ballpark at Bellerive, though he sputtered on the weekend in Tennessee.
