The 2026 Larry Howard Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament was held Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Sistersville Country Club, bringing together 16 teams for a day of competition and support for a worthy cause.
The annual tournament, held in memory of Larry Howard, began with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and featured another strong field of golfers from throughout the region. Proceeds from the event help provide scholarship opportunities for deserving students, continuing Howard’s legacy of giving back to the community.
Taking home the championship in the first flight was the team of Darren Glover , Jamie Cook, Bob Spencer, Richard Erlewine. Second Flight winners were the team of Donnie Baker ,Tim Fluharty ,Marshall Lamp, Brian Lockhart. Third Flight winners were the team of Brian Reynolds,Caleb Reynolds,Mitchell Reynolds,Reid Phillips
Participants enjoyed lunch during the event, followed by a traditional Low Country Boil sponsored by Williams Company at the conclusion of the tournament.
Organizers extend their appreciation to the many businesses, organizations and families who sponsored holes and helped make this year’s tournament a success.
