Callaway Golf announced Wednesday the release of The Fastest Town in America, an inside look at the company’s Chicopee golf ball plant and the people who work there.

The documentary aired Wednesday evening on Golf Channel during the network’s primetime slot. It is also available on Callaway Golf’s YouTube channel.

According to Callaway, the documentary explores how generations of manufacturing experience at the Chicopee facility are combined with newer technology and research to produce golf balls used by top players.

The company said it has invested more than $100 million in recent years in technology and manufacturing capabilities at the facility. Those investments have helped the Chicopee team advance golf ball performance, according to Callaway.

“We’re so excited to release this incredible documentary that showcases the people, the passion, and the great work that goes into making our exceptional golf balls,” said Nick McInally, Callaway VP of Global Marketing. “We believe that the quality and performance of our golf balls are second to none, but what makes Chicopee so special is the team behind it. We’re proud to give golfers a glimpse of the commitment that goes into every ball we make.”

Callaway said its investment in Chicopee extends beyond manufacturing technology, emphasizing the role of its workforce and American manufacturing tradition.

The company described the documentary as an opportunity for golfers to see the process behind its products and the people responsible for turning the company’s research and development into finished golf balls.

The Fastest Town in America is available on Callaway Golf’s YouTube channel, while additional information about the documentary and Callaway’s Chrome golf balls is available through the company’s website.
