As it stands, Bryson DeChambeau is a free agent in the golf world.

Barring the two-time major champion has had backroom conversations to determine where he will play in 2027 and beyond, DeChambeau’s contract with LIV Golf expired following LIV Golf Indianapolis on Sunday. With the future of LIV Golf up in the air, numerous players have started looking for what’s next if in fact CEO Scott O’Neil’s plan for LIV 2.0 doesn’t come to fruition.

Numerous players have taken to social media Monday to discuss their time with the league, with Ian Poulter, DeChambeau and others expressing their thought and feelings to the masses. Poulter’s message required more paragraph’s than DeChambeau’s had words.

“It was a good run,” DeChambeau posted with some photos of his best moments on LIV Golf.

What could it mean? At this point, it’s not worth speculating, but we’re going to anyway.

DeChambeau has been in contact with LIV Golf and fairly supportive of the league as it looks to plod a path forward in the professional golf world. He has also been rumored to be interested in doing YouTube golf full-time and competing at only the majors. The PGA Tour would be crazy not to want one of the world’s most popular players back in the fold, and he is a 10-time winner on the circuit.

Could this all mean his time with LIV has come to an end? Moreso, the league’s future is dim, so does this mean he’s moving on?

It’s likely news of DeChambeau’s next landing spot, as well as the league’s other players, will start to come out soon. Numerous players, like Tyrrell Hatton, are teeing it up at this week’s British Masters on the DP World Tour and are expected to play more on that circuit in the coming months.

As for DeChambeau, he and Jon Rahm’s decisions are going to be the most anticipated. As of now, DeChambeau has only five words to sum up his past 4 years and change with LIV Golf.
