KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – South Carolina men’s golf tees it up for the first time in the 2026-27 season on Monday at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate. The Gamecocks and the rest of the field will play 36 holes tomorrow with the final round set for Tuesday at Fox Den Country Club.
The 17-team field features seven SEC teams with an opportunity in week one for Carolina to pickup some head-to-head wins over conference foes. Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee (host school) and Vanderbilt are the other teams from the league competing this week alongside the Gamecocks in the early season tournament.
Senior Brock Blais has the top spot in the lineup this week. He’s joined by sophomore Talan Harrison, freshman Tom De Herrypon, freshman Tjelle Rieger and junior Marek Fleming. De Herrypon and Rieger are making their collegiate debuts. Senior Bo Carpenter will also play this week at Fox Den, competing as an individual.
Round one action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. (ET) tomorrow with Fleming first off for Carolina at hole one. Teams will play in foursomes as the Gamecocks will be paired with NC State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt the opening 36 holes on Monday.
