AUSTIN (KXAN) — Former Texas Longhorn Scottie Scheffler secured the TOUR Championship and FedEx Cup titles for the second time in three years with a three-stroke victory Sunday at East Lake Golf Club.
Scheffler previously won both titles in 2024. He joins Tiger Woods (2007 and 2009) and Rory McIlroy (2016, 2019 and 2022) as the only players to win multiple FedEx Cup titles.

Scheffler’s victory also moved him atop the PGA Tour’s career earnings list. Sunday’s win came with a $10 million payday, pushing his career earnings to $130,390,661. He passed Tiger Woods, who held the previous mark of $120,999,166 for more than 25 years.
Scheffler entered the final round three strokes behind runner-up Viktor Hovland. He carded six birdies on Nos. 2, 4, 8, 10, 13 and 16 to shoot a 4-under-par 66.
Sunday’s victory marked Scheffler’s second win in the last 14 days and brought his career total to 22 PGA Tour victories.
