Scheffler came from three strokes back to win the Tour Championship on Sunday after he carded a superb round of 66.
The 30-year-old has now won three times on the PGA Tour in 2026, and he managed to turn a fairly underwhelming season into an incredible one in the last three weeks of the season, certainly as far as his win tally is concerned.

The gap between the world number one and everyone else seems to be growing with every season that passes.
Scheffler is now the highest earner in PGA Tour history and the golf he has produced over the past few years has been nothing short of extraordinary.

The world number one spoke with The Golf Channel after his win at the Tour Championship on Sunday.
Scheffler responded when asked whether there was a moment during his final round when he felt the momentum shift in his direction.
“You know, I birdied 13 then bogeyed 14, and I’m standing on 15 tee, and there’s not a shot that’s more important than that, I think, on the golf course,“ the 30-year-old said.

“Throughout the rest of the course, there’s not too much trouble.

“There are no water hazards, and all of a sudden, you’ve got a shot that’s essentially worth two, because if you miss the green, you’re going to the drop zone, hitting three.
“I mean, I just flushed a six iron. I thought I hit it to a foot.
“I really hit it exactly how I wanted to, and got myself a nice look that I thought I made, but I felt like that was a really good momentum for me going into the last few holes.“

Scheffler now has 22 wins to his name in 170 PGA Tour starts.
During that time, the 30-year-old has recorded 15 runner-up finishes and 14 third-place finishes.
He has also amassed 60 top-5 finishes and a staggering 89 top-10s.
The world number one has missed just 20 cuts throughout his career and has recorded 126 top-25 finishes.
Scottie Scheffler’s earnings on the PGA Tour now stand at $130,390,661, and that will continue to rise exponentially over the course of the next decade or so.
