The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce today announced the return of the treasured Oak Tree Golf Classic.

Now in its 42nd year, the tournament will take place on Monday, Sept. 28, at the prestigious Valencia Country Club.

For more than four decades, the Oak Tree Golf Classic has brought together Santa Clarita Valley business leaders, community partners and golfers for one of the Chamber’s most anticipated days of the year. The tournament combines a great day of golf with valuable opportunities to build relationships, entertain clients, connect with fellow business leaders and enjoy some friendly competition.

“The Oak Tree Golf Classic has always been about bringing people together,” said Di Thompson, Chair of the SCV Chamber Board. “Some of the best business relationships are built outside the conference room, and this tournament gives companies the opportunity to spend meaningful time with clients, colleagues and fellow business leaders while enjoying a great day on the course. Whether you have played with us for years or are considering joining us for the first time, it is a wonderful way to experience the strength of the Santa Clarita Valley business community.”

Whether players are seasoned golfers or simply looking forward to a day on the course with colleagues and friends, the Oak Tree Golf Classic offers an experience that goes well beyond the round itself. Participants can look forward to professionally hand-rolled cigars, bloody mary and mimosas, on-course contests, 19th hole and reception, great raffle prizes and plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the day.

Businesses are encouraged to put together a foursome and make the tournament part of their client appreciation, team building or business development plans. In addition, there will be a chance to win a dream trip to Pebble Beach by outdriving a pro on the course.

For businesses looking to participate in an even more impactful way, sponsorship opportunities are still available and offer an engaging way to build visibility throughout the tournament. From creating a memorable presence on the course to connecting directly with golfers, business leaders and community partners, sponsors have the opportunity to showcase their brand in a relaxed environment built around conversation and relationship-building. Whether through an interactive activation, a hole sponsorship or another element of the tournament experience, the Oak Tree Classic provides businesses with meaningful opportunities to stand out, engage with participants and support one of the Chamber’s longest-standing traditions.

“The Oak Tree Golf Classic is about much more than golf. It creates a unique opportunity to bring people together who may never otherwise cross paths and gives them the time and setting to build meaningful relationships,” said Ivan Volschenk, President/CEO of the SCV Chamber. “A conversation on the course can be the beginning of a lasting business connection, a new partnership, or a relationship that extends well beyond the tournament. For 42 years, the Oak Tree Classic has brought together business leaders, clients, colleagues, and community partners, creating connections that strengthen our business community and continue long after the final putt.”

This year’s Oak Tree Classic is proudly supported by sponsors including New Urban West as Title Sponsor, Vance Wealth, Greyhawk Premier Insurance, Six Flags, Integral Communities, Aspire Fiber, PMP Management, WFIT Solutions, Blue Oaks CPA, Mission Valley Bank and MWH Constructors.

Hole sponsors already on board include Encore Gas & Supply, HASA Inc., Mission Valley Bank, Chris Faber Public Adjusters, Logix Federal Credit Union, Costa Roofing, Stay Green, Charity Golf International, Vance Wealth, Perspire Sauna Studio – Valencia, West Coast Arborists and Young & Chic, each helping to create an engaging and memorable experience for players throughout the course.
