And as a result of the world No. 1’s successes on the greens and fairways of the PGA Tour and further afield, Scott has seen his fair share of monetary compensation. Scheffler has managed a staggering £22.8million in prize winnings in 2026, pushing his career total to £96.2m. That has ultimately seen him surpass golf legend, Tiger Woods, by a more than £6.6m.
While caddies usually receive around 10 per cent of whatever their golfer makes from an event, Scheffler couldn’t name exactly how much he has paid Scott for his services over the last five years. He told the Pardon My Take podcast back in 2024: “We have a girl that helps us pay bills because I’m basically a child and can’t keep track of that stuff.
“She quickly took over that job and texts me at the end of each week saying, ‘Hey, this is how much we’re paying Ted.’ I’m like, ‘That’s great.'”
Scheffler kicked off his year with a victory at The American Express in January, before adding the FedEx St. Jude Championship in August and rounding off the season with a triumph at East Lake. The win at the TOUR Championship secured him his second FedEx Cup title.
The PGA star also claimed runner-up spots at the Masters, RBC Heritage, Cadillac Championship, Travelers Championship and 3M Open throughout a season packed with multiple seven-figure paydays.
Scheffler’s Tour Championship victory alone is estimated to have generated around £739,000 in caddie fees under the traditional 10 per cent winning arrangement. His £7.3m East Lake cheque propelled him past Woods on the all-time earnings list at a pivotal moment for the PGA icon.
Yet the financial rewards were only part of his record-breaking campaign. Scheffler also posted a remarkable 67.86 scoring average, surpassing his own PGA Tour record in the process.
