Renovated Cantigny Golf Clubhouse features new Tribune Hall with nearly double the space and lakeside patio for events.
Cantigny Golf & Tennis Club in Wheaton has unveiled its newly renovated clubhouse, featuring the expanded Tribune Hall—a significantly larger event space that more than doubles the capacity of its predecessor, the Red Oak Room. The reimagined space and adjoining patio overlooking the golf course and Swan Lake mark the completion of months of transformation at the Golf Digest Top 35 course.
The Tribune Hall combines a fresh interior design with a new layout tailored for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and family events. A spacious new patio provides views across the course and water features, addressing what the club identifies as a key amenity for event hosts. Cantigny is positioning the upgraded venue as a destination for weddings, private functions, and group celebrations across the DuPage County region.

The clubhouse renovation is part of a broader capital project at Cantigny that also included the reopening of the Lakeside Nine golf course. Located at 27W270 Mack Road on the grounds of the former Robert R. McCormick estate, Cantigny has operated as a premier private facility since 1989. The club operates three nine-hole courses—Woodside, Lakeside, and Hillside—alongside its academy and Youth Links junior program.
Beyond event hosting, the club recently completed upgrades to Medill’s Restaurant, its on-site dining venue. The facility has also transitioned to cashless operations, accepting only credit, debit, and digital payments across all transactions. These operational changes reflect the club’s modernization efforts alongside the physical renovations.
