The spotlight will be on South Carolina\u2019s Akshay Bhatia, a Hero Motocorp brand ambassador\u00a0 and England\u2019s Aaron Rai, who recently married Indian pro golfer Gaurika Bishnoi. . Last year\u2019s edition featured three Indian-origin PGA Tour winners\u2014Bhatia, Sahith Theegala and Rai\u2014but Theegala missed out this year after an injury-prone season which saw him fall to 107th on the World Rankings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33344\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/golf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/tiger3-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1441\"  \/>Tiger Woods and Dr. Pawan Munjal (CEO &amp; MD Hero MotoCorp) pose with Hero Hunk bike<\/p>\n<p>Woods will not tee it up again, but his hosting duties continue as he recovers from lumbar disc replacement surgery in October and an Achilles repair earlier this year. Woods has said his rehabilitation is progressing slower than he hoped.<\/p>\n<p>Woods, who has been Hero MotoCorp\u2019s Global Partner for a decade, also reaffirmed his commitment to the partnership, which has been extended until 2030.<\/p>\n<p>World No 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is chasing a three-peat, won\u2019t be the only player in the field with a Hero Challenge trophy. Hideki Matsuyama (2016) and Jordan Spieth (2014) are the other past champions teeing it up this week, while the event\u2019s most decorated player remains Woods, a five-time winner.<\/p>\n<p>Hero World Challenge Field with their world rankings \u2013\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Scottie Scheffler (1), J.J.
