Ben Griffin\u2019s path to golf stardom was anything but straightforward. After making a name for himself after a standout collegiate career at the University of North Carolina, Griffin turned professional in 2018 but soon found himself struggling to break through. By 2021, he had stepped away from the sport altogether, taking a job as a loan officer in North Carolina.<\/p>\n

His return to golf in 2022 marked the start of a remarkable turnaround: within a year, he earned his PGA Tour card<\/a>, notched two runner-up finishes, and by 2025 captured back-to-back victories at the Zurich Classic and Charles Schwab Challenge before securing a spot on the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team.<\/p>\n

At his side the last few years has been his partner, Dana Myeroff. \u201cTo see it all come together is a dream,\u201d she told PGATour.com<\/a> in May after his Charles Schwab Challenge victory. \u201cIt\u2019s just a dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

1. Dana is originally from Ohio.<\/p>\n

Myeroff grew up in Ohio and graduated from Lehigh University in 2019, where she studied business information systems and accounting. The couple are now based in Jupiter, Florida.<\/p>\n

The couple inside of a 1992 Schwab Defender 110, which Griffin won after winning the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge.<\/p>\n

Myeroff previously worked at EY (formerly Ernst & Young), where she served as a finance transformation consultant and later as a senior digital transformation and innovation consultant. She then joined Evisort, an AI-powered contract management software company, as a senior customer success manager. According to her LinkedIn profile<\/a>, she is now a senior customer service manager at Workday.<\/p>\n

3. She loves to travel.<\/p>\n

Dana doesn\u2019t post that often to Instagram, but she does share photos from some beautiful places around the world, both from personal trips to faraway places like the Greek Islands<\/a> and Austrian Alps<\/a> as well as popular sporting events such as Wimbledon.<\/p>\n

4. The couple started dating in 2022.<\/p>\n

Myeroff and Griffin have been together<\/a> for more than three years, and she\u2019s been his \u201cnumber one fan<\/a>\u201d on the course ever since.<\/p>\n

Ben planned a surprise proposal for Dana at The Cloister at Sea Island<\/a>, a historic resort in southern Georgia.
