Two-time US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau could be ready to return to the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Golf Channel analyst and former PGA pro Brandel Chamblee shared his thoughts on DeChambeau’s possible future on the PGA Tour and what might explain a dip in his game since joining LIV four years ago.<\/p>\n

“The distraction of LIV being in flux, and Bryson \u2013 from what we can all sort of read between the lines is that \u2013 he’s trying to figure out a way to come back to the PGA Tour, at least that’s what we’re hearing through the grapevine,” Chamblee, who is one of LIV’s harshest critics, said, via Front Office Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“So, just being in flux, I think it’s hurt a lot of players’ games. Before people went to LIV, when they were considering going to LIV, we saw a number of games just inexplicably fall off.<\/p>\n

“And maybe that is the large point of what’s going on with Bryson this year, is that he’s completely in a state of flux. He put so much into LIV, and now it’s up in flames. So there’s a lot of doubt as to where he’s going to be next year.”<\/p>\n

DeChambeau joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf in 2022<\/a>, but the tour has experienced financial strain of late.<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is officially pulling their funding after this season \u2014\u00a0but the situation could be more urgent than that.<\/p>\n

Just this week, CEO Scott O’Neil would not confirm whether the final four events of the LIV Golf 2026 calendar will be played<\/a>.<\/p>\n

DeChambeau missed the cut at both the Masters and the PGA Championship and looked frustrated with his performances.<\/p>\n

On the LIV tour, however, he’s won two tournaments and nearly won another in South Korea last week.<\/p>\n
