In recent weeks,\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0had the opportunity to spend some time with the ZT-2 model, and I wanted to share my\u00a0initial\u00a0thoughts. First off, the size and shape of the putter head really resonate with me. Like many others,\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0gone through a bit of a revolving door with putters, often settling\u00a0on\u00a0a mid-mallet shape, which is exactly what the ZT-2 offers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When I stood over the ball, I noticed that the alignment lines were slightly thicker than those on other models I have on hand. The contrasting topline, combined with the three lines that perfectly frame the golf ball, made it easy for me to\u00a0identify\u00a0my starting point with this putter in hand.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even though the ZT-2 is technically the lowest MOI putter among the four\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0tried, it felt remarkably stable throughout the stroke, even when I struck the ball slightly off-center.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In terms of sound and feel, the\u00a0stainless steel\u00a0face had a slight brightness, but overall it\u00a0provided a solid yet soft feel, particularly when rolling a Tour Edge Exotics golf ball.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Final Thoughts <\/p>\n

It\u2019s\u00a0easy to dismiss the introduction of zero-torque putters and the recent launch of the Exotics Mini\u00a0driver\u00a0as Tour Edge simply following the\u00a0recent trends. While there may be some truth to that, golfers should be excited about these new releases because Tour Edge has well\u00a0established\u00a0itself as arguably the best value in golf. <\/p>\n
