Travis Kelce<\/a>, George Kittle, and their tight end pals once again took over Nashville this week for Tight End University. On Tuesday, June 23, they hosted a concert at The Pinnace, and the lineup promised appearances by Dan + Shay<\/a>, Chase Rice, Kane Brown, Nate Smith, John Pardi, and more.<\/p>\n By now, you\u2019ve likely heard that Lainey Wilson closed out the show with a surprise duet with Taylor Swift, but one of the artists had to miss the event due to injury.<\/p>\n For last year\u2019s event, Kane Brown provided a big surprise by bringing Taylor on stage to sing \u201cShake It Off.\u201d But this year, he was notably absent despite being on the lineup. Bussin\u2019 with the Boys podcast hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan broke the news to the audience, along with a rather dramatic explanation.<\/p>\n \u201cI have very unfortunate and devastating news that took place today,\u201d Will said. \u201cOh, but hey\u2014we just want to say that he\u2019s okay.\u201d They went on to explain that Kane sustained a concussion and required 23 stitches after being hit by a golf ball. They then asked for a moment of silence.<\/p>\n In a since-deleted story time posted to his Instagram, Kane explained that it was his \u201cown buddy\u201d who hit him, and he was grateful that the injury wasn\u2019t more serious. Holy crap.\u201d<\/p>\n Kane is scheduled to perform tomorrow at Hoofbeat Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin, before traveling to Canada for Country Thunder Alberta.
