Medina\u2019s Elizabeth Coleman won in a breeze, and Hudson\u2019s Ben Fauver won in a playoff on Tuesday during the final round of the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Section Championship at Glenmoor Country Club.<\/p>\n

Coleman posted a second straight round of 5-under 67 to finish at 10-under 134 and a whopping 14-stroke victory in the Girls Division, while Fauver was forced to go two extra holes in order to win the Boys Division in a playoff with Chagrin Falls\u2019 Ethan White after both had finished regulation play at one-under 143.<\/p>\n

Fairview Park\u2019s Calli Reed finished second to Coleman with rounds of 77-71=148.<\/p>\n

The two champions and runners-up earned a trip to the Junior PGA Championship<\/a> in Frisco, Texas, July 28-31, where they will compete against the top finishers from the 40 other PGA Sections across the country.<\/p>\n

Coleman, a graduate of Highland High and a Ball State recruit, was impeccable over the 36 holes. She made 13 birdies against three bogeys and at one point on Tuesday went bogey-free for 4 straight holes. She made birdie putts of 6, 4, 12, 15, 15, and 18 feet. She also two-putted for birdie on the 480-yard, par-5 10th hole.<\/p>\n

Reed, who will be a senior at Magnificat High, rallied from fourth place after the first round to grab the runner-up spot, climbing over Magnificat teammate Korrine Knaze, who shot 75-76-151 and Brunswick\u2019s Ellie Gonzalez-Ribble (72-81-153).<\/p>\n

Fauver, an Ohio State commit, began the day with a one-shot lead with White just two behind. He birdied two of his first six holes to stretch his lead, but consecutive double-bogeys cut it to one stroke through 14 holes with White, Rocky River\u2019s Coleson Paez, Medina\u2019s Cameron Stafford, and Chagrin Falls\u2019 Alexander Eckstein getting to within striking distance.<\/p>\n

White, a junior at St. Ignatius, started the day at even par and made two birdies and two bogeys on the front. He made seven straight pars and finally caught Fauver when he canned about a 28-foot putt for birdie to Fauver\u2019s par on the 184-yard 17th hole. They parred the 18th and headed to the 10th tee. They stayed even until Fauver parred the 11th with a superb chip from a tough lie just off the green and in front of the pond on the left, while White made bogey from an even tougher lie from the hill on the right side of the green.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
