\n\tUPDATED: Will Ferrell<\/a>\u2018s Lonnie Hawkins (aka The Hawk<\/a>) is determined to make his mark on golf history. And it won\u2019t come without its challenges. Netflix has dropped the official trailer for The Hawk, Ferrell\u2019s upcoming golf comedy series, ahead of its July 16 premiere. \n\tPREVIOUS, May 13: Netflix has unveiled the official teaser for The Hawk, Will Ferrell\u2019s upcoming golf comedy series, which will premiere July 16 on the streamer. The teaser and premiere date were announced Wednesday during Netflix\u2019s Upfront presentation in New York. The streamer also released some first-look photos which you can see below.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the clip, it\u2019s clear, golf legend Hawk is ready for a comeback. \u201cOh, Mama, I\u201dm back!,\u201d he shouts as he hits a line drive straight into a bystander. \u201cOh, I\u2019m not back!\u201d You can watch it above.<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the logline, in The Hawk Lonnie Hawkins, (Ferrell) 2004\u2019s number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he\u2019s not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf\u2019s new golden boy, know he\u2019s through. But with one more major to win to complete golf\u2019s Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he\u2019s anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.<\/p>\n

\n\tMolly Shannon<\/a> portrays Lonnie\u2019s foul-mouthed ex-wife Stacy, along with Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver and David Hornsby.<\/p>\n

\n\tFerrell was sidelined for a short time in November, when he suffered a minor injury off-set. While not serious, it did keep him from filming a few scenes, forcing producers to re-arrange the schedule as he recovered, according to TMZ.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tFerrell, Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor executive produce for Gloria Sanchez Productions. Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman and Nena Rodrigue are executive producers for T-Street. Chris Henchy, Harper Steele, David Gordon Green and Andrew Guest will serve as executive producers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
