Jack Newton Junior Golf has marked 40 years with a new home in Western Sydney, a new brand identity and a five-year strategic plan, in what the organisation is calling its most significant day since its founding.<\/p>\n
RELATED: Golf Australia secures Win Well and Play Well investment<\/a><\/p>\n The announcements, made at Lynwood Golf & Country Club on Thursday, included a new partnership that will see Lynwood become the official home of Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) in Western Sydney, the launch of a rebranded visual identity under the tagline Legacy in Motion and the release of the 2026 to 2030 Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n From July 1, Lynwood\u2019s existing junior golf academy will be rebranded as the Jack Newton Junior Golf Academy at Lynwood, with JNJG taking full operational responsibility for all junior programs at the venue. The organisation will also relocate its operational office to Lynwood, with staff based on-site full-time.<\/p>\n JNJG general manager Dale Hughes said the Lynwood partnership was exactly the kind of move the organisation had been working towards.<\/p>\n \u201cFor 40 years, JNJG has delivered opportunities for young golfers right across New South Wales and the ACT, but having a place we can truly call home is incredibly special. Lynwood is an outstanding facility, and its commitment to growing the game aligns perfectly with our own. To establish our base here, run our programs from here, and welcome young golfers and families into such a world-class environment is a significant milestone for our organisation and one we\u2019re extremely proud of,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Matt Bailey, general manager of golf at Lynwood Golf & Country Club, said the club had long been committed to junior development.<\/p>\n \u201cGrowing opportunities for participation in junior golf is an important part of the culture of Lynwood and the CHRG Group. Partnering with JNJG ensures our commitment to providing young people and families access to quality programs, coaching and clear pathways to develop their skills and passion for the great game of golf,\u201d Bailey said.<\/p>\n \u201cJNJG has built one of the most respected junior golf programs in Australia, and bringing that expertise to Lynwood strengthens our ability to support the next generation of golfers. We\u2019re proud to become the home of Jack Newton Junior Golf in Western Sydney and excited about the opportunities this partnership will create for junior participation and development.\u201d<\/p>\n The partnership will kick off with a Jack Newton Junior Golf School Holiday Camp at Lynwood, with entries open now.<\/p>\n Alongside the partnership, JNJG unveiled a new brand identity built around its three program pillars: Juniors, which focuses on introducing young people to the game; Tours, the organisation\u2019s competitive core; and Talent, which supports advanced players through elite development programs.<\/p>\n Hughes said the new look was designed to reflect where the organisation was heading as much as where it had been.<\/p>\n \u201cThe new identity is built on legacy, but it is designed for the next generation. It reflects where JNJG has come from, and more importantly, where we are going: one clear pathway from first swing to elite performance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The 2026 to 2030 Strategic Plan, also launched today, sets out the organisation\u2019s goals for the next five years, including expanding participation through new partnerships and programs, growing the competitive pathway from grassroots to elite level, and building sustainable revenue to support long-term operations.<\/p>\n
