When Odyssey introduced the Damascus Milled Seven putters<\/a>\u00a0in late April\u00a02026, the release felt\u00a0almost like\u00a0a throwback launch for the company. The focus\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0on Odyssey staples like\u00a0synthetic\u00a0insert technology and multi-material, high MOI design. Instead,\u00a0they\u00a0used the line to\u00a0showcase\u00a0a more refined side of the brand, pairing premium materials, fully milled\u00a0construction\u00a0and\u00a0firmer, tour-inspired feel into a limited\u00a0release.\u00a0Today,\u00a0the Damascus Milled lineup is expanding.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The second release introduces three\u00a0additional\u00a0head shapes:\u00a0<\/p>\n

One Wide SB
\nTwo CH
\nRossie S <\/p>\n

While the original launch centered around the iconic No. 7 fang shape, this newest drop broadens the lineup, with a\u00a0traditional blade and\u00a0two\u00a0compact mallets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Damascus Story Continues\u00a0<\/p>\n

The core\u00a0design philosophy\u00a0of the lineup\u00a0remains\u00a0unchanged.\u00a0Each putter uses Odyssey\u2019s Damascus Steel insert, created through a layered construction process that combines multiple steel alloys before being forged, folded, pressed\u00a0and\u00a0heat treated into the final material.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That process creates the distinctive flowing pattern across the insert, with every piece ending up visually unique.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Compared to many of Odyssey\u2019s softer insert designs, they note that the\u00a0Damascus material\u00a0is\u00a0firmer and\u00a0provides a\u00a0more responsive sensation at impact with sharper audible\u00a0feedback. Traditional blades have become less\u00a0visible in\u00a0the company\u2019s\u00a0core lineups in recent times.\u00a0The Damascus Milled Two CH changes that, and we expect it to be embraced by many.<\/p>\n

This is a classic blade shape with a crank hosel, full shaft offset,\u00a0and\u00a0moderate toe hang designed for players with more arc in their\u00a0putting stroke. Clean lines, traditional proportions\u00a0and\u00a0fully milled construction give it a boutique appearance that also benefits from Odyssey\u2019s massive investment in R&D.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One Wide Continues the Wide Blade Trend\u00a0<\/p>\n

If the Two CH represents traditionalism, the One Wide SB reflects\u00a0what\u00a0much of the premium putter market\u00a0has evolved into.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wide blades continue to\u00a0be increasingly popular, balancing blade aesthetics with added stability and forgiveness. Odyssey specifically describes\u00a0the One Wide as \u201cvery much on trend.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rossie S Adds a Different Personality\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rossie has long been one of Odyssey\u2019s classic shapes, but this\u00a0particular configuration stands apart from\u00a0many\u00a0recent retail releases from the company. The slant neck, sight dot alignment,\u00a0and\u00a0flowing fully milled\u00a0flange\u00a0give it an\u00a0appearance that feels custom shop inspired.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"Rossie<\/p>\n

Compared to the Two CH, the Rossie S offers slightly more forgiveness and visual confidence. Compared to the One Wide, it maintains a softer and more rounded profile that many golfers still prefer behind the ball.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The moderate toe hang and half-shaft offset keep it versatile for a wide range of stroke types as well.\u00a0We have no problem saying this is the model we\u2019d be most attracted to. It\u2019s a stunning play on one of Odyssey\u2019s classic shapes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Odyssey Damascus Milled Putters Offer Premium Details\u00a0Throughout<\/p>\n

Beyond the inserts themselves, Odyssey\u00a0delivers\u00a0premium detail\u00a0throughout the lineup.\u00a0Each head is fully milled from stainless steel with a blasted silver finish that keeps the overall appearance\u00a0clean\u00a0and allows the Damascus insert to remain the focal point.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new Tour Pistol grip, developed alongside Golf Pride through tour player feedback, uses more defined shaping and sharper edges for additional hand awareness during the stroke.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Odyssey also continues using the SL90 shaft with 20 grams of counterbalance weight in the butt section to help stabilize the overall feel of the putter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our Take\u00a0on the Damascus Milled Expansion<\/p>\n

The first\u00a0Damascus Milled\u00a0release introduced the concept through one of the company\u2019s most recognizable modern mallets. This second drop expands the lineup into shapes that appeal more\u00a0broadly\u00a0to traditional milled putter players and enthusiasts who gravitate toward blades, compact mallets\u00a0and\u00a0more nuanced toe hang configurations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
