In between the end of the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday and the start of the 2026 Open Championship<\/a> on Thursday is the first-ever Last-Chance Qualifier.<\/p>\n

The R&A has spiced things up a tad this year with this one-of-a-kind, 12-man qualifier for the 156th and final spot in the Open.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the draw was announced, with the R&A announcing that Marcus Helligkilde withdrew, opening a spot for Frazer Jones, who becomes the third amateur in this qualifier.<\/p>\n
