LEXINGTON, Ky. \u2013 Kentucky men\u2019s golf has added Gabriel Hull, a transfer from Emmanuel University to the 2026-27 roster, head coach Gator Todd announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Hull was a star at Emmanuel as a freshman in 2025-26, collecting two wins and five top 5 finishes while finishing with a 72.1 scoring average across 36 rounds played. He was named the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year and selected to the Golf Coaches Association of America NCAA DII All-Southeast Region Team.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re excited to welcome Gabe to our UK golf family,\u201d Todd said. \u201cHe\u2019s a perfect fit for our program. He\u2019s a winner with a lot of potential and his ceiling is through the roof.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hull qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship where he tied for 16th with a score of 6-under par, punctuated by a final round 66 (-6). He also finished third at the Conference Carolinas Championship, leading Emmanuel to the first conference title in program history.<\/p>\n
A native of South Daytona, Florida, Hull posted 21 rounds of par-or-better during his freshman campaign and was under par in six of his 12 starts overall. He rounded into form during the spring season, tallying a 70.48 scoring average and winning both the Oldfield Classic and the Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate.<\/p>\n
Hull is currently ranked No. 420 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. He won the 77th Annual Press Thornton Future Masters championship in June, one of junior golf\u2019s most prestigious tournaments, with rounds of 65-63-71 (-11).<\/p>\n
