The video shows Ecker at her local Goodwill filming a bag of clubs and asking her husband, Kyle, if he wants them. He called her immediately. She bought them.<\/p>\n<p>Back home, the unboxing told the story. Kyle pulled out a Scotty Cameron TeI3 putter, one of the most sought-after putters in golf, with the Cameron name engraved on the grip and the iconic Scotty Cameron head cover still attached.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m gonna freaking lose it. I cannot believe this,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/culture\/article\/goodwill-scotty-cameron-golf-clubs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle said in the video, per BroBible. <\/a>He took the cover off. \u201cOh, my God. Look at that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He held the club and said, \u201cThis is gonna take my putting game to a whole \u2018nother level.\u201d Ecker asked straight, \u201cWorth 20 bucks?\u201d Kyle\u2019s answer was instant. \u201cWorth 20 bucks, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The TeI3 model sells on eBay between $300 and $500, per BroBible. Ecker captioned the video simply, \u201cI Think I Just Won Wife of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The comments section agreed. One viewer put it in terms anyone could understand. \u201cI\u2019ll explain this in Pok\u00e9mon terms,\u201d they wrote. \u201cShe just found a 1st edition Charizard for $30.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Goodwill golf finds are becoming a thing<\/p>\n<p>Ecker isn\u2019t the first person to strike gold at a thrift store on the fairway front. <\/p>\n<p>TikToker Laziz Baldwin went viral last year after finding a PING G30 driver at his local Goodwill, per BroBible. The PING G30 also sells for hundreds of dollars online.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin\u2019s advice to his followers was direct. Check Goodwill before paying full price for premium equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Part of what makes a Scotty Cameron discovery so significant is the brand\u2019s standing in golf collectible circles. Scotty Cameron putters dominate the golf collectible sphere, with some of golf\u2019s biggest names, including Tiger Woods, swearing by the craftsmanship. Seeing a \u201cCircle T\u201d design on certain putters can turn a $500 club into $50,000.<\/p>\n<p>Scotty Cameron limited editions regularly change hands for in excess of $1,000, some much more,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.best-putter.com\/collectible-putters.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> per Best-Putter.com<\/a>. Top prices are paid for putters in mint condition with the headcover intact.
