Golfweek staffers have locked in our best picks to win this weekend. Here’s who we expect to sit atop the leaderboard when play ends on Sunday.

Follow along with all the action this week with Golfweek and USA TODAY Sports for a live leaderboard, golfer rankings and money list.

3M Open Outright WinnerCameron Jourdan: Scottie Scheffler (+275)

It’s almost a trap, right? A HUGE favorite this week, Scheffler has a chance to win his first tournament since January in a watered-down field. All of this coming off a T-4 at The Open. Yeah, we’ll ride with the No. 1 to figure out his putter and have a birdiefest at TPC Twin Cities.

Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!Todd Kelly: Max Homa (+4500)

/How showed out three weeks ago at the John Deere Classic (solo second), then earned a spot – and made the cut – at The Open. Now it’s time he gets back into victory lane. Homa winning for the seventh time in his career would solidify his FedEx Cup standing (he’s 49th right now) and would make for a nice post-major season story.

David Dusek: Scottie Scheffler (+275)

Scheffler made absolutely nothing at Royal Birkdale and still finished just three shots off the lead. Against this field, a B- performance on the greens should be good enough for Scheffler to get a W.

Tim Schmitt: Jake Knapp (+3300)

None of this makes sense, since Knapp has missed the cut in three of his last four starts, but his T3 finish at 3M last year shows this is a place that suits his eye.

Blake Schuster: Scottie Scheffler (+275)

It’s a boring pick, sure. But it’s also the correct one. In a typically weak field, Scheffler is the ultimate outlier. Someone who will come out and wreck the course if he’s at his best and capable of winning with even a C- effort. This is the golf equivalent of a get-right game.

Adam Schupak: Jake Knapp (+3300)

Scottie Scheffler’s putter has to warm up, right? But if he doesn’t win, Jake Knapp is a great fit for TPC Twin Cities. He appears to be fully healthy again and this would be a perfect venue to get back into the form that had him a top-10 machine earlier this season.

Our editors independently choose our recommendations.
