Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/a> star Whitney Rose<\/a> and estranged husband Justin Rose\u2019s shocking separation was perhaps less of a surprise to those who knew the former couple.<\/p>\n

A source exclusively tells Us that Whitney and Justin have yet to start the formal divorce process as they figure out the next logistical and legal steps.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey haven\u2019t taken any formal steps, like retaining attorneys or moving out yet, but they are currently separated,\u201d the source tells Us. \u201cThey\u2019re no longer functioning as a couple. The relationship has essentially come to a standstill, and they\u2019re now trying to figure out what comes next.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us has reached out to Whitney and Justin\u2019s spokespeople for comment.<\/p>\n

Us confirmed on Wednesday, July 22, that Whitney and Justin called it quits<\/a> after 16 years of marriage. Neither Whitney nor Justin have publicly addressed their separation or the nature of their current post-split relationship.<\/p>\n

The former couple tied the knot in 2009. They share daughter Bobbi, 13, and son Brooks, 10. Since RHOSLC premiered in 2020, Whitney has been candid about her and Justin\u2019s marital ups and downs<\/a>. Whitney previously told Us in 2023 that she and Justin were \u201cfine.\u201d<\/p>\n
