DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) –\u00a0Caroline Reese and Alivia Colon are taking their latest \u201cGirls Trip\u201d to the golf course!<\/p>\n
This time, the WAND Weekend Wake Up duo took a few lessons at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur.<\/p>\n
Ladies Only Golf Clinic, hosted by Decatur Park District golf professionals, invites women of all levels of experience to learn golf. Whether they have never stepped foot on a golf course or are looking to improve their game, it’s the perfect way to learn a new skill and get some movement in this summer.<\/p>\n
For Caroline and Alivia, it was a chance to learn the basics, work on their swings and, of course, have a little fun along the way.<\/p>\n
The interactive clinic covers different aspects of the game and allows participants to learn from golf pros in a relaxed, welcoming environment.<\/p>\n
The Ladies Only Golf Clinic is offered in four-week sessions on Thursday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. at Hickory Point. The next session is Thursday.<\/p>\n
The cost is $80, or $75 for Decatur Park District residents.<\/p>\n
Whether you are a golf beginner or already know your way around the course, the clinic is a chance to learn something new \u2014 and maybe enjoy a girls\u2019 night out while doing it. Caroline and Alivia say give it a shot!<\/p>\n
