The 2026 U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifier at Oberlin Golf Club in Oberlin took place on Thursday, where 3 players earned the opportunity to compete in the 45th U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship<\/a>. This year\u2019s Championship will be held at Sand Valley Resort in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, September 26 \u2013 October 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

Litchfield\u2019s Bryan Yeo took the win and the first qualifying spot in the Championship after carding the low round of the day by just one stroke. Yeo\u2019s 6-under-par 66 was highlighted by eight birdies and two consistent nine-hole scores of 33.<\/p>\n

Just behind Yeo at 5-under-par 67 were Toledo\u2019s Ben Silverman, North Lima\u2019s Brandon Pluchinsky, and Massillon\u2019s Jarrod Kasunick. The trio battled in a sudden-death playoff for their chance to play in the Championship.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Silverman and Pluchinsky won the playoff to punch their tickets, earning the final two qualifying spots. Kasunick will serve as the first alternate while Toronto, Canada\u2019s David Lang will serve as the second alternate.<\/p>\n
