James Singleton and his son, Sullivan<\/p>\nGOLFERS will once again take to the fairways at Royal Jersey Golf Club on August 20 for an annual charity day raising money and awareness for the rare condition Nystagmus.<\/p>\n
The event, which has been running since 2021, will see 12 teams compete over 18 holes before coming together for a three-course lunch and cash prizes.<\/p>\n
Organised by James Singleton in support of his son, Sullivan, the event raised more than \u00a35,000 in its first year.<\/p>\n

Nystagmus is a condition characterised by rapid, involuntary and uncontrollable eye movements, which can affect a person\u2019s vision, balance and coordination.<\/p>\n
With four-ball places costing \u00a3600, golfers will be combining a day of competition at Royal Jersey with the opportunity to support a cause that is deeply personal to the Singleton family.<\/p>\n
Among those taking part this year will be Jersey Evening Post sports reporter Archie Corbett and his family, who will join the other teams on the course.<\/p>\n
While there will be plenty of friendly competition across the 18 holes, the main aim will be to raise as much money as possible for Nystagmus.<\/p>\n
