And then there were 50.<\/p>\n

The field for the 2026 FedEx Cup Playoffs<\/a> has been trimmed down to just 50 players<\/a> after last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship. Now, it’s on to the BMW Championship<\/a> at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, where those 50 guys will compete with the hopes of securing their spot in the top 30 and advancing to the season-ending Tour Championship, which takes place next week at East Lake in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is back to defend his BMW title, fresh off a win in Memphis on Sunday, and he’ll do so among a field featuring many of golf’s biggest stars, including Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood, Cameron Young, Collin Morikawa, Matt Fitzpatrick and more.<\/p>\n
