Apple TV has already confirmed that, along with Owen Wilson\u2019s Pryce Cahill, Season 2 of Stick will see the return of Peter Dager<\/a>\u2018s Santi, Marc Maron<\/a>\u2018s Mitts, Mariana Trevi\u00f1o<\/a>\u2018s Elena, Lilli Kay<\/a>\u2018s Zero,\u00a0Judy Greer<\/a>\u2018s Amber-Linn, and Timothy Olyphant<\/a>\u2018s Clark Ross. Meanwhile, Rhea Seehorn joins as golf instructor Amanda alongside other new Season 2 stars including John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle. What will\u00a0Stick Season 2 be about?<\/p>\n

As viewers saw in\u00a0Stick Season 1, Pryce Cahill is an ex-golf pro who derailed his career prematurely after a traumatic loss. Following the collapse of his marriage, he finds himself in a rut until he sees Sanit Wheeler swing a golf club. The teen\u2019s obvious talent isn\u2019t lost on Pryce, who ultimately mentors the boy. Their up-and-down dynamic finds solid ground by the end of Season 1, but what will happen next? The final moments of Season 1 feature Santi asking Pryce to show him what he\u2019s got in terms of talent on the course; he even goes so far as to suggest Pryce compete professionally again.<\/p>\n

Season 2\u2019s official logline reveals that as Santi takes the next step in his professional golf pursuit, he\u2019ll discover that the game changes when talent becomes an expectation. While Santi chases his dream, Pryce finds himself wondering what might be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark, Pryce does something nobody expects when he bets on himself, launching his comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer to win a major. But the road to success proves harder than he imagined as Pryce is forced to face the promise everyone once saw in him. With new coach Amanda and trusted caddie Mitts, Pryce attempts to prove the golf world and himself that he\u2019s really as good as everyone said he was.<\/p>\n

Upon the Season 2 renewal, series creator Jason Keller said, \u201cI am inspired and humbled by the audience reaction to Stick, and I\u2019m thrilled to be making a second season with this magical cast, led by the incomparable Owen Wilson, and the wonderful creative team at Apple TV. It\u2019s a joy to be able to continue this story. Most importantly, however, this season two order will provide me with an undeniable excuse to play even more golf.
