Robert MacIntyre ($7,100) \u2013 After withdrawing from the FedEx St. Jude Championship with a knee injury following a first round 12-over 82, MacIntyre showed no signs of an injury at the BMW Championship, finishing T-7.<\/p>\n
Outside of around the greens, the Scot gained strokes in every major category at Bellerive Country Club. MacIntyre also shot 68 or lower in all four of his rounds, including a 5-under 65 to conclude the event, which tied for the lowest score of the final round. <\/p>\n
This is the third time in MacIntyre\u2019s last five starts that he has finished inside the top-10 and for the season, he ranks top-30 in SG OTT, SGP and par four performance. MacIntyre now heads to East Lake, where he has finished T-17 in both of his starts at the venue. MacIntyre has shot a 6-under 64 twice at East Lake and he should provide a career-best showing at the par 70 this week.<\/p>\n
Min Woo Lee ($6,700) \u2013 Lee has been struggling, but his poor recent results should translate into low ownership and East Lake is a course that sets up well for the Aussie. Lee has finished T-47 or worse in three straight starts, but he finished runner-up at the Genesis Scottish Open before this stretch and he has finished inside the top-25 eight times in 19 starts this season.<\/p>\n
One of which is a T-18 at the PGA Championship in May, which was played at the Ross-designed Aronimink Golf Club. Evident from this showing, Lee is very fond of Ross creations. Lee has finished T-21 or better in five of his six starts at Ross courses, most notably with a runner-up at Detroit Golf Club for the 2024 Rocket Classic.<\/p>\n
Among this field, Lee ranks second in strokes gained per round at Ross designs. Another encouraging sign for Lee\u2019s chances in his debut at East Lake is that his driver has been his best club this season, ranking 18th in total driving.
