Good Good Golf

While both Good Good Golf and Callaway Golf pulled the ad from social media and expressed regret, Callaway CEO Chip Brewer issued a statement at 1:14 AM EST apologizing even further for his company’s role in the ad.

“While the video was produced by Good Good, it was approved by Callaway prior to posting. That approval should never have happened. The content was inappropriate and does not reflect our values. To be clear: We are unequivocally against discrimination, domestic violence, or threatening behavior of any kind.

“As soon as we recognized the seriousness of the issue, it was escalated appropriately, and the video was immediately removed.”

The full Good Good driver video was actually 60 seconds long, and it seems like it was meant to be some sort of horror-movie spoof? Good Good Golf

The ad had been made to promote a new driver that had been a collaboration between Good Good and Callaway, which have partnered since 2023.

A report by Inc. indicated that Callaway had pulled the listing for the driver from its website.

Callaway remains one of the biggest brands in golf manufacturing and Good Good Golf has become one of the household names to a younger generation of golf fans, thanks to the popularity in the golf content space. Good Good raised $45 million in funding in a 2025 round and its YouTube channel alone boasts more than 2 million followers.

The brand is also sponsoring a new PGA Tour event in early November at Omni Barton Creek in Austin, Texas, showcasing the reach Good Good Golf has, which has added to the concern over the ad and the message it sends.

Callaway apologized for a second time and said they were investigating how the commercial got approved. Good Good Golf

In a statement posted on Saturday, Good Good said that the ad “depicted actions that are not aligned with our values as a brand.”

“We have since taken that content down, and sincerely apologize.
