He bogeyed three of his first five holes and never recovered Thursday, despite a Round 1 scoring average that dipped below 67.<\/p>\n<p>The difference a day makes. <\/p>\n<p>Round 2 was the complete opposite for the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/pga-tour\/news\/cameron-young-last-man-standing-as-players-champion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">2026 Players champ<\/a>, who was the first player off the tee and posted a 30 on his front nine behind a string of three straight birdies from holes Nos. 4 through 6. <\/p>\n<p>He went <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GolfChannel\/status\/2093388311775596621?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">birdie-birdie to open his back nine<\/a> \u2014 opening the possibility for a 60 or sub-60 score \u2014 before running into trouble at the par-4 12th. Lee was playing with J.J.
