Scottie Scheffler ended another excellent PGA Tour season with a three-shot victory at the Tour Championship over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old started the final round at East Lake three strokes behind Viktor Hovland and overturned the deficit with relative ease.<\/p>\n

He has now further solidified his place as the world\u2019s best golfer with his third Tour win of the season and his 22nd in five years.<\/p>\n

Former European Tour player Wayne Riley has since compared Scheffler<\/a> to Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman for one specific reason.<\/p>\n

Scottie Scheffler\u2019s \u2018aura\u2019 compared to Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman<\/p>\n

Scottie Scheffler has become such a prolific winner on the PGA Tour<\/a> that he is being compared to the all-time greats.<\/p>\n

Wayne Riley believes that Scheffler has an \u201caura\u201d that intimidates his fellow players when he is near the top of the leaderboard.<\/p>\n

Without playing any heroic shots, the American finds a way to get into contention and rarely makes mistakes in key moments.<\/p>\n

This makes Scheffler similar to both Jack Nicklaus<\/a> and Greg Norman, who have more than 200 professional victories between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe right guy won, and he just creeps up on them. Norman<\/a> used to be able to do that,\u201d Riley said on Sky Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome players just tiptoe along, don\u2019t take too many risks, and when it comes down to the sharp end of the tournament, they just drift away. <\/p>\n

\u201cNow he has such an aura he can speak to these players through the leaderboard just by being up there. Rory [McIlroy] is one. Is he as much any more? I\u2019d say so. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut you have the greats of the game, like Nicklaus, when you look up there and think, \u2018Whoa,\u2019 and this guy is that. You think, \u2018How can I beat this guy?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Some might say that Scheffler is not the most entertaining golfer in the world, but he is certainly the best by a wide margin.<\/p>\n

If he continues to win at the same rate for the foreseeable future, he will soon earn more comparisons to the likes of Nicklaus.<\/p>\n
