leader on the PGA Tour after his Tour Championship victory.<\/p>\n<p>The American\u2019s final-round 66 was enough to defeat 54-hole leader Viktor Hovland by three strokes at East Lake.<\/p>\n<p>He was already the best golfer on the planet and he has now increased his lead at the top of the world rankings.<\/p>\n<p>As he continues to break records every year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/topic\/scottie-scheffler\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"98399\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scheffler<\/a> has now overtaken Tiger Woods as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/topic\/pga-tour\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"98401\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PGA Tour\u2019s<\/a> highest earner ever.<\/p>\n<p><img weekend\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/topic\/tour-championship\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"99036\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tour Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having recently surpassed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/topic\/rory-mcilroy\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"98400\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rory McIlroy<\/a> on the all-time PGA Tour money list, Scheffler has now overtaken Tiger Woods.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old has earned $130,390,661 in his Tour career, which is just under $9.5 million more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/topic\/tiger-woods\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"98389\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Woods\u2019<\/a>
