Welcome to\u00a0Fully Fit 2026<\/a>, GOLF\u2019s new platform for providing you with real-golfer insights into what 2026 gear might be best suited for your game. To this end, we assembled six GOLF content creators of varying abilities and ran them through the gauntlet of six full-bag fittings (driver to putter!) at six major club manufacturers in Phoenix and Carlsbad, Calif. Our hope: that you might see shades of your own game in one of our panelists\u2019 and take some learnings and inspiration from their fitting experiences.<\/p>\n

Day 4 of Fully Fit at Cobra was one of the team\u2019s most anticipated days, and for a multitude of reasons.<\/p>\n

For one, Cobra brings the high-energy vibes. With the team at Cobra, you know you\u2019re going to have a good time, especially with fitters Andrew Lusty, Perry Dickey and director of tour operations Ben Schomin, who joined us for the day. They even had wedge and putter design lead Chad DeHart fitting wedges and putters.<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful setting at the back of the range at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, where Cobra stationed its old Tour Truck to serve as a primary outdoor fitting facility. For the second day in a row, we got views of the Pacific Ocean as we put the latest golf clubs through their paces.<\/p>\n

And thirdly, the product had plenty to be excited about.<\/p>\n

Jake, Johnny and I were all anxious to get fitted for a set of Cobra\u2019s new 3DP irons<\/a>. This was the second time we had seen them, but now we actually got to dial them in.<\/p>\n

When getting fit for the 3DP MBs<\/a>, Jake and I both came in thinking we would be in one shaft, but that wasn\u2019t the case. I\u2019ve been a longtime user of the Project X 6.5 shaft, but Andrew and I found the Nippon Modus 120 X knocked my launch and spin down just a hair while containing my left miss. For Jake, who had played Project X 6.5 before but was using the Modus 120 X in his gamer set of Cobra King MB and CBs, the Project X gave him slightly better numbers to get back in his bag.<\/p>\n

Sean also found great success with the 3DP Tour irons as he continued his mission to learn more about what clubs should go into his bag.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 3DP irons weren\u2019t the only show stoppers, as Wadeh cranked up his ball speed to 165 mph with the new OPTM LS driver. Maddi also worked with Ben to gap out the top of her bag with a 3-wood, 5-wood and 9-wood.<\/p>\n

The Cobra team put on an epic day as we pass the halfway mark of our trip. By this point, our bags are starting to fill out, but Callaway and Srixon remain on deck. Stay tuned.<\/p>\n
