Six Kiwi golfers have been confirmed in the field for the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, taking centre stage in the world of amateur golf on home soil in October. <\/p>\n

\n The tournament, played at Te Arai Links\u2019 South Course, will see a 120-strong field compete in the first major tournament held
\n at Te Arai since it opened in 2022.\n <\/p>\n

Current world No 19 in the amateur rankings, Zackary Swanwick, will lead the Kiwi charge. The 20-year-old plays his golf for the University of Florida Gators in the United States\u2019 collegiate competition. <\/p>\n

Swanwick finished in a tie for 12th at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Melbourne in 2023, was part of the Arnold Palmer Cup-winning international team in Ireland this year, and is one of just seven players in the field ranked inside the top 50 amateurs in the world. <\/p>\n
