Camilo Villegas and Kevin Kisner were involved in a heated argument during the Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal Golf Club back in 2024.<\/p>\n

Kisner and Villegas were vice-captains on the United States and International Presidents Cup teams respectively.<\/p>\n

As we know, the US team ran out comfortable 18.5-11.5 victors at Royal Montreal, as they continued their sheer and utter domination in the competition.<\/p>\n

Kevin Kisner<\/a> has served as a vice-captain on numerous United States teams throughout his career, including at the Presidents Cup<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

There were some unsavory scenes at Royal Montreal two years ago as the two fiercely competitive teams battled it out in Canada.<\/p>\n

And now Kisner has lifted the lid on a heated exchange that he was involved in with one of the International team\u2019s vice-captains, Villegas.<\/p>\n

When speaking on the Fore Play Plus Podcast<\/a>, Kisner was asked what happened with Camilo Villegas during the Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal Golf Club in 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cCamilo and I were walking in the same group. Tom Kim was playing for them and Scottie Scheffler was playing for us in that group,\u201c Kisner explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, they have a long history of playing against each other. Tom made a putt and went nuts, and then Scottie made a putt and went nuts, and kind of like bowed up towards Tom in his direction.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe next hole, Tom made another long putt, and we had two putts to tie, and Camilo told his team to walk off the green and go to the next hole.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like 50 yards from the green, I just watched it, and then when Scottie and Russ both missed their putts to tie, they walked by me and said, \u2018what the hell was that? What are they doing, walking off\u2019?<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I just told them, \u2018calm down, I got it\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo when they hit off the next tee, I just walked up to Camilo. I was like, \u2018what are you doing? Like, that was the most unsportsmanlike thing I\u2019ve seen\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he goes, \u2018bro, don\u2019t worry about us, bro\u2019. And I was like, \u2018no, I\u2019m gonna worry about \u2018us\u2019 because that\u2019s my team you\u2019re affecting\u2019. I said, \u2018if you want to play that way, we can all play that way, or you can just play normally\u2019.\u201c<\/p>\n

Kisner and Villegas continued their heated debate after the match<\/p>\n

Kisner explained how he and Villegas did not let the matter drop.<\/p>\n

The pair actually squared up to each other after the match had finished.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen after the match, he came up to me talking all kinds of trash,\u201c Kisner revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I just stood right in front of him in his face and stared at him. Everybody on TV saw it, I think.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you gonna do, fight me out here? You gonna punch me?\u201c<\/p>\n

Whether or not the matter is now resolved between the duo is unclear.<\/p>\n

However, it is obvious that there was no love lost between Kevin Kisner and Camilo Villegas at the Presidents Cup in 2024.<\/p>\n
