Usually that leaves the golfer in question scrambling to acclimate to a new set on short notice, but on Friday at Crans-sur-Sierre, Rafa Cabrera-Bello actually credited his lost clubs for his T-4 start at the Omega European Masters.<\/p>\n<p>Talk about a script flip, but we guess when you\u2019re playing with Adam Scott\u2019s irons, that suave swing is bound to rub off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I tell you, you\u2019re gonna laugh,\u201d Cabrera-Bello said when asked about the reason for his strong play this week. \u201cThe big difference is that my clubs did not arrive this week. I\u2019ve been playing with a mixture of a member\u2019s bag and Adam Scott\u2019s irons, so I guess there\u2019s muscle memory, brain memory and now iron memory, because yesterday I was second in shots gained: approach, so that\u2019s probably thanks to Adam Scott.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cabrera-Bello now faces a dilemma heading into the weekend. His clubs arrived following his second round on Friday, so he\u2019ll have to decide whether he rides with the hot sticks or returns to his usual tools of the trade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow I have a big dilemma\u2014I really don\u2019t know what to do\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019ll probably play with mine tomorrow, but it\u2019s been funny playing with Adam\u2019s [clubs]. It made me want to go back to blades again. Who knows!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Who knows, indeed.
