The full field list won’t be official for another week, and the Biltmore Championship itself is still two weeks away, but the inaugural playing of the new PGA Tour event is starting to attract some big names.<\/p>\n
The tournament kicks off the 2026 FedEx Fall series at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville, North Carolina, Sept. 17-20.<\/p>\n
It’s going to be a tune-up of sorts for the Presidents Cup, and that’s perhaps the reason why Justin Thomas is committed to play.<\/p>\n
Thomas, one of six captains’ picks made by U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker on Tuesday for the Presidents Cup, will tee it up for an 18th time in 2026 at the Biltmore.<\/p>\n
And he’s not the only JT set for Asheville, as J.T. Poston is also an early commitment. Others announced so far include Jacob Bridgeman and Kevin Kisner, who will step out of the NBC broadcast booth to compete.<\/p>\n
Tyler Watts among the four sponsor exemptions<\/p>\n
Watts is currently at Lahinch prepping for the Walker Cup but he will be one of four sponsor exemptions in two weeks at the Biltmore:<\/p>\n
