Wu put together a bogey-free performance to vault more than 100 spots up the leaderboard, she trails leaders Farah O&#8217;Keefe from Texas and Meja Ortengren of Stanford by two shots after Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_gl gnt_em__el\" href=\"http:\/\/golfweek.usatoday.com\/picture-gallery\/sports\/golf\/college\/2026\/05\/23\/best-photos-2026-ncaa-womens-golf-championship-omni-la-costa\/90234170007\/\" data-t-l=\"\u2691g:l|l|c|view gallery:inline promo\" aria-label=\"View Gallery - Best photos from the 2026 NCAA Women\u2019s Golf Championship at Omni La Costa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img class=\"gnt_em_gl_i\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" data-gl-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/golf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1779576066_615_90234067007-2277697659.jpg\" data-gl- decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"372\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Wu is the third player to record a round of 64 at the NCAA Championship. It&#8217;s the lowest round by any female player at Omni La Costa the past three years. LSU&#8217;s Megan McChrystal carded the first 64 in NCAA Championship history during the final round in 2010 at Country Club of Landfall in North Carolina. Thirteen years later, USC&#8217;s Catherine Park did it during the second round at Grayhawk in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Wu&#8217;s round started with a birdie on the par-4 first hole. She turned in 3-under 33 but birdied Nos. 10, 11, 13, 16 and 17 en route to her record-tying 64. It&#8217;s the second-lowest round in Florida history.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"gnt_em_cp_cw_i\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" data-gl-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/golf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1779576066_112_76309108007-87-778468792.jpeg\" data-gl- decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Her previous best round this year was a 65 in the Gators&#8217; home tournament.
