Parents don\u2019t always respect boundaries with their kids, but they need to learn to do that, especially when their kids make their boundaries very, very clear.<\/p>\n

In this story,<\/a> one teen has ADHD, autism and is a self-described germaphobe. All of that combined makes her very self aware of why she reacts to situations the ways she does, but her mom seems clueless.<\/p>\n

For context, my mother has been grabbing my butt for more than five years now jokingly.<\/p>\n

She did not stop those years even when I constantly asked her politely to stop grabbing my butt.<\/p>\n

It makes me very uncomfortable as she does it anywhere, no regards to where we are.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s some more context about OP\u2019s habits and issues.<\/p>\n

Another somewhat important piece of information, I have mild germaphobia and I can\u2019t have anything touch my bed or pjs without them being cleaned first.<\/p>\n

I am also, messy and unorganized.<\/p>\n

So I\u2019m hand sanitizing everything in a messy desk like some Frankenstein\u2019s monster. (Adhd and autism)<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what made OP really upset.<\/p>\n

One morning, I left my safe, clean bedspace for food. I was chilling in my pjs standing. My mom walks by and slaps my butt.<\/p>\n

As this has happened for years, and my mom didn\u2019t wash her hands before touching my pjs\u2026<\/p>\n

I. Got. MAD. I snapped. I slammed open the back door and yelled into the neighborhood. \u201cI WISH MY MOM WOULD STOP GRABBING MY BUTT. I\u2019VE ASKED HER TO STOPPED FOR SO LONG AND SHE NEVER FREAKING LISTENS\u201d<\/p>\n

I barely even swore in my life too.<\/p>\n

Now, they\u2019re both upset.<\/p>\n

I then stomp inside and enter my safe, clean space after cleaning my pjs with hand sanitizer.<\/p>\n

I then come downstairs still angry and run into my mom.<\/p>\n

I yelled at her about the whole situation and then she got mad at me\u2026 for \u201cyelling so loud you let the whole neighborhood know\u201d<\/p>\n

EXCUSE ME? YOU ARE THE ONE OBVIOUSLY GRABBING MY BUTT IN PUBLIC AND IM THE PROBLEM FOR YELLING IT OUT ON SOME WEEKEND?<\/p>\n

She doesn\u2019t think her mom understands at all.<\/p>\n

Anyway, she then ranted on and on (you can see how we are related) and proceeded to call me sick (because of the germaphobia and routines I need to follow) and the most disgusting person in the whole family\u2026 sick\u2026<\/p>\n

That obviously hurt my feelings.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s the neurotypical one in the family so she barely understands and she isn\u2019t ever supportive for things related to mental health\u2026 it just hurts a lot for your own mom to call you sick and disgusting.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong she loves me\u2026 maybe. She\u2019s very defensive over me when it comes to teachers being weird and bullying. She just\u2026 is prone to getting mad.<\/p>\n

Her mom needs to back off and respect her personal space and her body. Stop it already!<\/p>\n
