Residents of one of north Kerry’s most scenic spots fear that the development of a solar farm in their area could ruin its appearance and even pose a threat to life.
Lacka West, near Duagh, is one of the highest points in north Kerry, exceeding 200m above sea level in some parts, and provides a stunning vista of the region. It can also be seen from all over – as far away as Ballybunion – on a clear day.
